Installing Webuzo via VMmanager

03.09.2025, 13:04

Webuzo is a lightweight hosting control panel from Softaculous with a built-in app installer and a clean admin UI. Below is a concise, click-by-click guide to deploy it on a fresh VPS using VMmanager.

Supported OS: Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04

In the example screenshots, Ubuntu 22.04 is used.

Open VMmanager from billing

  1. In THE.Hosting billing, go to Products/Services → Virtual private servers.
  2. Tick the target VPS.
  3. Click To panel — this opens VMmanager for the selected server.

Start the Webuzo autoinstaller

1. In VMmanager, click the ⋯ menu at the end of the VPS row.

2. Choose Run script.

3. In Select script, type webuzo and tick Webuzo.

4. (Recommended) Enable Send the email associated with the script and choose the EN interface language.

5. Click Run script.

VMmanager will show Script running while the installer works. Give it several minutes to complete.

First login to the panel

Once the script finishes, open the Webuzo admin interface in your browser: Admin panel (HTTP): http://<server-ip>:2004

Admin panel (HTTPS): https://<server-ip>:2005

Example: https://45.140.xxx.xxx:2005

After you’re done

If you plan to try another panel or script, reinstall the OS first in VMmanager (⋯ → Reinstall OS) and run the next installer on a clean system.
