How to Quickly Install Netcat on a Virtual Server from THE.Hosting

26.06.2025, 16:07

If you want to launch a website using Netcat but don’t feel like dealing with manual setup, here’s some good news — the whole process takes just a few minutes. The key is to take your time and follow the steps.

Step One — Log In to Your Account

1. Go to THE.Hosting and log in to your control panel. You’ll find your login credentials in the welcome email you received right after registration — just copy and paste them to sign in.

2. In the panel, open the “Virtual Servers” section. You’ll see a list of all your VPS instances. Choose the one where you want to install Netcat and go to its settings.

Don’t Have a Server Yet?

No problem — here’s how to order one. The process is quick and easy.
2.1. On the homepage, choose the country or region where your server will be located. It’s best to pick a location close to your target audience — the closer the server, the faster your site will load. That’s especially important for SEO and mobile users.

2.2. Select a plan. A small business site or landing page will work fine even on a basic plan. For heavier projects, go with something more powerful.

2.3. Set the rental period, adjust the server specs, and click “Order.” Once payment is complete, your server will be ready to use. That’s it.

Installing Netcat

3. In the server control panel, open the “Virtual Machines” section.

4. Next to the server you want to use, click the three-dot menu and select “Run Script.”

5. In the search bar, type Netcat. You’ll see the installation script — click on it and confirm the launch.

6. The installation will only take a few minutes. You can follow the progress under the “Status” tab.

7. Once everything is ready, you’ll get an email with your access details — login, password, and a link to the admin panel.

That’s it! You now have a fully functional website running on Netcat. All that’s left is to style it, add your content, and publish it.
