How to access the x-ui panel via SSH tunnel

1. Open a terminal on your computer and run the following command:

ssh -N -L 8080:localhost:<порт X-UI панели> root@<IP вашего сервера>

⛔ D o not close the terminal window - the connection must be active for the panel to work.

1. Open a browser and go to:

<http://localhost:8080/><путь к панели>/

✅ You will see the X-UI login form.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: before importing the VPN configuration in the VPN client.

After exporting the configuration from the X-UI panel, you may see the following in the connection bar:

vless://b037ff83-dd81-4ed3-a78d-55a163d3523e@localhost:36970?type=tcp&security=reality&pbk=...#ltr9asgs0

❌ This config will not work because localhost means "your computer".

✅ Replace localhost with the external IP address of the server - the same one you used in the SSH command.

After that, paste the config into the VPN client.
